I haven't posted in so long. This is for two reasons. 1. I'm a teacher and the last half term from Feb-March was absolutely totally ridiculously horribly hard work. 2. The past two weeks have been the much needed Easter holidays so I've been trying to chill out and have fun. So here's what I've been up to...
I spent the Easter weekend chilling out at my sisters house and enjoying time with my two nephews.

My Dad and I had a day out in London. We had a browse around Portobello Market, a trip on the 'Emirates Airline' cable car, and then quite a long walk around St James' Park, Horse Guards, Whitehall, Victoria Embankment, Trafalgar Square, Soho (including 'all you can eat' Chinese buffet!) and Oxford Street (including giant Primark!) The sun was shining and it was lovely.

I spent a whole afternoon watching every episode of Chasing the Saturdays with my friend Fran.
I got my hair cut and spilled bright blue nail varnish all over my cream bedroom carpet. Cleaning it up was fun. Not!
The main highlight of the holiday was the wedding of my friend Laura to James. It was an amazing day and after weeks of misery the weather turned out to be good enough for the ceremony to be outside.

I met up with my friend Sarah, who reminded me how good a scone with cream and jam is...

| I will definitely be indulging in some cream teas this summer. |
I had a rare boozy night with my two sisters. Cider in champagne glasses anyone??
I got to spend four whole days with my biggest sister and her boys, whilst attempting to help her with a 20,000 word masters dissertation eeeek!

On the final weekend I had a yummy pub lunch with my Mum, went to my Uncle's surprise 60th party which was lots of fun, and then to my cousin's daughters 1st birthday party. All in all, lots of lovely times with friends and family. Back to work tomorrow. I wonder if I will have time to blog before July!!!
